After many failed ivf attempts and heartbreaking losses we turned to SCI to help us start our family.  

Nine months later, we are now the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl.

A family desperately wanting children, blessed with twins. And for those who are curious, putting black makeup around a baby's eyes is a common tradition across India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Some parents believe that the eyeliner protects the babies eyes and improves  their sight.

Big kid update from Spain: look how i have grown!

It is always a delight to see how SCI babies have grown...

Today a year that our son David was born, which has fast last time! and we want to thank you again for all the effort and work done.

This year David has been wonderful, full of surprises and joys.
India is a special place for us will always be in our hearts and we will definitely be back.

From the U.S: a family completed...

For some families, they need SCI's assistance in completing their family, here is one such story...

It seemed a distant dream to have another child, and then the solution came to us from a distance, in New Delhi, India, at SCI Healthcare. And now it is more than a dream. Our reality is two babies born healthily to a surrogate just two weeks ago, and now we are in Delhi with our expanded and even happier family!

SCI has been a pleasure to work with - communicative, organized, responsive, warm, and efficient. Even more important, SCI truly is capable of delivering dreams. Dr. Shivani, the SCI staff, and other doctors work very well together to achieve results. We respect their professionalism and genuinely like them as people.

Instead of extra challenges of having a surrogate in India, they have made it smooth, probably far smoother even than in our own home country of the U.S.

We recently met our surrogate and her husband, and the meeting was beyond our high expectation, confirming that this has been one of the best journeys, figuratively and literally, of our lives. Surrogacy in India was our only option, and SCI made it our best option because it worked.

What a wonderful way to finish off the year, a wonderful family who we all had the privilege to all met  in Melbourne earlier this year...

“The afternoon knows what the morning never suspected”. (Swedish proverb)

When we wrote to you from India this time last year, we were readying ourselves for a largely unscripted year full of nervous expectation.  Now in hindsight we don't think anything could have prepared us for the rollercoaster twists and turns that 2013 threw at us.  What a ride!

Without doubt we reached the summit on 8 September at the Eden Hospital in New Delhi when our beautiful baby daughter, Indigo Gallagher-Craven, arrived on this planet.  We are incredibly grateful for the amazing courage of Nandani who grew Indigo and looked after her for 9 months; we will always be indebted.  And we must sincerely thank Dr Shivani at SCI for working her technological magic, and the generous support of her team.  Indigo certainly reminds us of the truly amazing times we are fortunate to live in.  We are indeed blessed to be able to welcome such a little treasure to our family.

So as 2013 comes to a close we want to thank you for your love, support and shared excitement on our journey to bring Indi into this crazy-fun world!

English summary

My name is Dror, and with my wife Tania, we undertook 5 failed attempts of IVF in Brazil.  Our first two attempts with SCI were unsuccessful, so it was recommended that we cycle with two surrogates*. Imagine our surprise when both surrogates became pregnant, one with two babies and the other with one. They were born on the 4/9/13 and 7/10/13

We would like to thank Dr. Shivani and her team, both inside and outside of India, they were very solicitous in answering our questions, explaining the process that took 15 months in total.

We recommend Dr. Shivani and her clinic to all Brazilians who opt for this process. We are thankful to this whole team that made our dreams come true

The best part of our role, making people's dreams come true...

You already know you are a saint, but we cannot let this opportunity pass without sharing our deepest gratitude for what you have done for us over the past 10 months. First, if it wasn’t your efficiency professionalism and consideration. We would still be trying to use my ineffective eggs or worse still had fallen pregnant ,ended up with a child with a disability. For that alone we will never be able to thank you enough …as the system in Australia failed us and you amazed and saved us.

From Australia : the road to our babies...

Sometimes the photo is enough...

My husband and I were married in 2004 and thought like every other couple that a baby would come into our lives as a lovely surprise not long after. We waited and hoped and after a year realised something wasn't right. Fast forward 8 years - and following 13 failed and tortuous rounds of IVF and an adoption application that seemed like a road to nowhere - we arrived at SCI, with very little hope left that we would ever become parents.

To our amazement, we had success in our first attempt with a surrogate and are now the happy - but tired! - parents of twin boys Leo and Noah. We are so grateful for the professional support of Dr Shivani and the SCI team - including their warmth and responsiveness to all of our questions along the way.

And of-course, we will always be indebted to our wonderful surrogate who carried our boys who came into the world so healthy and beautiful.

Dear SCI,

It is difficult to put into words the feelings of thanks we have to Dr Shivani and all her team for making our dream come true with the birth of our beautiful daughter Emilia. She has settled well into her life in Scotland but she is also the source of many fond memories from our time in Delhi.
