From Brazil: a blessed baby boy

Such a joyous couple, what a wonderful family, who after so many failures in their own country finally achieved their dream...

After trying for numerous times by myself, God has blessed us, and we got it, thanks Dr. Shivani. Everything was perfect from the start, the team of Dr. Shivani always helped us and made our journey easier.

At first we were worried about everything (we did not imagine to do surrogacy) but after meeting the clinical and the dr. Shivani we were more relaxed and more confident.
Now we are very happy and we are eternally grateful.

We pray every day for Dr. Shivani, her team and the surrogate mother.

Marconi, Aparecida and João .
From Brazil.

We wish this family the choicest of blessings in the coming years.

From the USA- Beautiful thoughts on their baby girl...

Reflections on being a new fathers, raising a baby girl

TWO VERY PROUD DADDIES OF A BABY GIRL

Dear Doctor,
I guess you have heard these words a number of times, but I will never thank you enough for the incredible joy you have brought into our lives with the blessing of our adored Jacqueline.

To me, you and your staff are not a simple medical facility staff and equip, but pure miracle-makers.

We are leaving Delhi tonight and can’t wait to start our new life together back home.

Before leaving I want to deliver this message to you and to the world.

As a father of a marvelous newborn baby girl, I want to cherish the importance of female gender, who runs the world with loving sensibility.

The role, importance and strength of the female gender is often sadly subjugated by male’s unjustified dominant social position. This is a world wide issue and there is still a long way to go before equity is fully achieved.

We all need to aim our efforts to changing the way things are today. The very first commitment and responsibility must come form the families as founding and basic cells of the society.

The change must be radical and affect society customs. We cannot ignore that women raise the adults of tomorrow and that the dominant male individuals that abuse of their social position were raised by women as well.

People’s attitude and mentality must be shaken from their very roots.

We have undertaken very seriously the importance of our task as parents, and we  committed ourselves to make sure that Jacqueline shall become an adult free from any form of subjection, aware of her incredible and precious creative power. We will never allow Jacqueline to feel bound to cultural or religious imposed role models. Jacqueline shall become the woman she wants to be, without any fear of being unconventional or different.

The importance and richness of being different will be our legacy to Jacqueline.

Dear Doctor we will never forget what you did for us. May the world be lucky enough to experience the gift of an increasing number of incredible women like you are.

Big kid update : from Australia, our three...

We often get asked, what ever happened to.. , so now  and then we will include a big kid update from one of our families from around the globe, some reflections on surrogacy and their journey through surrogacy and as a parent.

Here is our first, a couple from Australia and as you can see a lot can happen in 18 months...

Time has flown. This time last year, hubby and I were busily preparing for our trip back to Delhi to await the imminent birth of our three long awaited cherubs. I was just about to leave my work who were so so happy for me.

Fast forward to today and our babies are 11 months old tomorrow. They are such a delight and I dont know how I got so lucky....well yes I do with the incredible skill and professionalism of Dr Shivani and SCI and with the extremely and amazing generosity of three women our 2 surrogate mothers L and K and our egg donor.....we will always be grateful for helping us make this gorgeous little family.

Our oldest (not by much I think 45 minutes older) and smallest Sophie smiles and laughs so much it is impossible for your heart not to jump when she holds out her arms to you for a cuddle. Sophie is such a good sleeper and sleeps through the night regularly and loves her naps during the day. Sophie gets so excited when you read books to her again I cant help but read to her several times a day.

Lilly is such a party girl. She wakes up with a smile and bounces in her cot to greet me in the morning. Lilly was the first to crawl and is now trying so hard to stand up on her own without assistance. She is nearly there . Lilly is also the first one of our three to feed herself and actually prefers finger food these days. Lilly is going to be musical as she loves dancing around to music. We sing very often to all our three and Lilly squeals with delight.

Jack is such a handsome boy and loves to start the laughter chain amongst the girls. He is growing tall and as my niece says he has solid guns (muscly arms). He loves to play peekaboo with us lifting his sheet over his face and then pulling it down laughing. He prefers to crawl on his tummy and he has surprised me how fast he can move like

Our house is very noisy now as all three are talking the usual words, Dadda, Mumma, No, and other words we are not sure of yet. They have been such good babies I am one very lucky mummy.

Their 1st Birthday is approaching on 16 December and we are having a small gathering on the Sunday 15 December to celebrate. Their party is going to be "An anything goes Indian Theme". I am going to attempt to make an elephant birthday cake for them.

I am so looking forward to everything  in the future...all the little things and all the milestones even potty training!

I think about our egg donor and our surrogate mothers* and what an incredible gift they have given to us. Like many of us, my infertility left me sad and with little options to have a family and my hubby and I endured this hollow feeling for so many years despite trying IVF and adoption.

Whilst the surrogacy journey feels hard and is definitely like a roller-coaster ride, to have your babies in your arms is all worth it. I would have more children through surrogacy if I was younger and more energetic! For those starting out the journey, remember to research research and research. If you choose a clinic overseas understand what you need from that clinic in terms of communication etc.

Try and make decisions in advance and without emotion if you can and remember to plan plan and plan. We planned and budgeted for probably the worst outcome (NICU costs and other unexpected medical costs) ...... remember you are also dealing with a different culture where your surrogate mother may want privacy, may not want you to be present at ultrasounds or may not wish to meet you. Don't take this personally.

Finally, the other parents you meet on this journey and lifelong friendships and bonds that are created when your children are born, for our family was an unexpected and delightful blessing.

Embrace the unexpected, don't sweat the small stuff and keep trying. It is worth it when your dreams come true. Ours did and we will be forever grateful for Sophie, Lilly and Jack.

Love you Dr Shivani and SCI angels. See you in 4-5 years time when we come back to New Delhi for a visit xxx

FROM AUSTRALIA: A Family reborn

Many of our families come to us with stories of loss, this precious story is one of them...

In 2012,after losing a precious baby girl born at 23 weeks with a clinic in Mumbai and later having a negative result at the same clinic,I then decided to try another clinic.I emailed several clinics in India and SCI was one of the clinics to get back to me.

Speaking to Dr. Shivani gave me hope and confidence that I will have a family again after losing my only child (my best mate) in a car accident when he was 13 years old. On the 23rd November 2013 Ryan would be turning 26 years old, and my precious little angel Katalani would have turned 1 in October this year.

Even before I left Australia for India, I felt confident that I had picked the right clinic.

In early 2013 I personally met Dr. Shivani and after talking with Dr. Shivani and being explained the whole process at SCI (and I mean the whole process!!!!), I felt even more confident with SCI.

Dr. Shivani reassured me that I will achieve my dreams of having a family again, you might think that they were only words spoken.

But as I hold my handsome son and my beautiful daughter in my arms and look into their loving eyes, I feel very blessed that I have met the most precious person in the world Dr. Shivani, a true angel, that has given me a beautiful family again!

My dreams are not my dreams anymore.

I now have five more very precious people in my life, Dr. Shivani, the very generous egg donor, and the most incredible person in my life the surrogate.

I will always be in debt to these wonderful people my life and the other two most precious in my life, my son and daughter!!

It should be Zero to two in less than 10 months!!!!!

God bless everyone at SCI.

Heartfelt thanks,
Noel.

We wish this family the choicest of blessings and celebrate their safe return home to Australia.

English summary

My name is Dror, and with my wife Tania, we undertook 5 failed attempts of IVF in Brazil.  Our first two attempts with SCI were unsuccessful, so it was recommended that we cycle with two surrogates*. Imagine our surprise when both surrogates became pregnant, one with two babies and the other with one. They were born on the 4/9/13 and 7/10/13

We would like to thank Dr. Shivani and her team, both inside and outside of India, they were very solicitous in answering our questions, explaining the process that took 15 months in total.

We recommend Dr. Shivani and her clinic to all Brazilians who opt for this process. We are thankful to this whole team that made our dreams come true

Happy Diwali from our SCI family to yours

Diwali is the festival of lights and celebration. one of the most important festivals of the year and is celebrated in families by performing traditional activities together in their homes.

It is a time in which family travel to be together; where our surrogate's families are assisted to be with their daughters, wives, mothers; where the surrogate accommodation is filled with  food, laughter, joy and light ( and family).
While Diwali is popularly known as the "festival of lights", the most significant spiritual meaning is "the awareness of the inner light".

The celebration of Diwali as the "victory of good over evil", refers to the light of higher knowledge dispelling all ignorance, the ignorance that masks one's true nature.

With this awakening comes compassion and the awareness of the oneness of all things and this brings joy & peace.
Just as we celebrate the birth of our physical being, Diwali is the celebration of this Inner Light.

May the Divine Light Of Diwali,

Spread Into Your Life Peace,
Prosperity, Happiness and Good Health.

Happy Diwali from our SCI family to yours,
with affection,
from
Dr. Shivani and the SCI Team

From Canada : A beautiful baby boy and our dream come true...

"Choosing the Surrogacy Centre of India (SCI) has proven to be one of the best decisions that I’ve made in my entire life.   Margarida, my SCI contact/representative, was instrumental in guiding my partner and I to start the journey in fulfilling our dream to become parents.  Fourteen months later, my partner and I are proud fathers of our beautiful baby boy.

Prior to becoming clients with SCI, my partner and I endured an agonizing year of consecutive failed fertility treatments with another fertility clinic in Mexico.  After the 5th failed embryo transfer, we decided to completely change our strategy and find another fertility clinic.  This is where I found SCI’s website and started to research Dr. Shivani and her amazing team at SCI.  I decided to email SCI and I was surprised to receive a quick response from Margarida.

Margarida, a past client herself, was able to provide us real information based on her “first hand” experience.  She was very knowledgeable in IVF and was able to provide us with all the answers to our million questions. Her exceptional customer service and professionalism put SCI on top of the list.  Margarida worked for us and always had our best interest. Although she represents SCI, she never tried to sell, promote or sway us in doing anything.  She simply was our main contact throughout the whole process.

She aided us in finding our egg donor and surrogate. She provided ongoing support throughout the pregnancy.  We knew that we could always count on her for guidance and an honest answer.  Looking back, she made an already easy process even easier.

Equally impressive was the whole functionality and professionalism of SCI and the amazing support staff that made a very scary process feel safe and promising.  They have exceptional organizational skills and customer service especially for those patients, like me, who are foreigners.  I was also very impressed with the clinic itself.  It was beautiful and very clean.  The staff was very professional.  The medial team’s expertise is completely trustworthy and I felt like I was in a clinic back in Canada

They provided all of the contacts for services required for our stay in India and bringing our baby home. I wholeheartedly recommend SCI to anyone who needs their valuable service.

Words can not describe how happy we are.  Margarida and Dr. Shivani’s outstanding team at SCI answered our deepest hopes and dreams. Dr. Shivani and her husband/business partner Dr. Vishal Gour are a “God-send”.  We are forever in debt to SCI, our egg donor, our surrogate and to India itself.  They gave us our perfect little boy who we love more than life itself. They gave us the power and happiness that is family.   God bless SCI!

Yours Truly,

Rondinelli Family"

From the U.S.A : a joyous bundle a boy and a girl!

Another amazing journey completed...

Dear Dr. Shivani and SCI Team,
I would like to thank you all for helping to give me the best gifts in life.  When I started this journey last year, I didn't know what to expect.  I did a lot of research and talked to others who were clients at your facility. It wasn't until I visited the clinic last year in person that I was completely sold and decided to partner with you on this journey.

My egg donor produced a great number of eggs and my surrogate was pregnant with twins on the very first try!! Throughout the pregnancy I was always well informed on the babies’ progress and when I emailed questions, whether day or night, they were always answered promptly. Thank you for everything!

I am forever grateful for these precious gifts.Sincerely,
Anwar,

Father of Zora and Ravi

From Japan, two beautiful girls and a family completed...

Dear Dr. Shivani and the SCI team,

As holding our pretty girls in our arms, we are now feeling happiness with relish.
It is really our pleasure and honor to express our gratitude to you all.

Our long-time dream "to have a child" finally came to a happy end.
Our new dream "to raise our children" has now begun.

To open the locked doors for our dreams, we had to find the KEYS.
The KEYS, namely, a reliable doctor, a good communicator, and a cooperative surrogate mother.

Let us give advice to the people who are expecting a journey to have a baby.

The professional medical treatments and the perfect management by Dr. Shivani.
The splendid documentary support and the smooth communication by the SCI team.
The warmhearted cooperation and the devoted care
of the fetus by the Surrogate Mother and the social & medical team.

You can find every single KEY here at Surrogacy Centre India.

Thank you all who gave us priceless gifts.
Hope more people to be blessed with children with your help.

From India : Twins, a boy and a girl!

These words shared reflect the journey of many who seek surrogacy treatment...

I and my wife extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr Shivani and her team for the phenomenal contribution in adding happiness to our life.

You made our dream come true. You have presented us the best gift by making our family complete. By your grace and noble deed we have been blessed by our very own twins through surrogacy.

It was almost for the last eight years that we were trying for second baby. It failed due to cervix incompetency. We had a preterm baby (26 weeks) which survived for 24 hours. Following this we tried IVF which resulted in miscarriage.

By God’s grace I got in touch with ISIS Dr Shivani and her team in 2011. This was a turning point which culminated with twins, a baby girl and a baby boy.

Here I would like to share experience. During the course of pregnancy one of the twin developed focus in the ultrasound image in 22nd week. This vanished away by 31st week.

Both babies joined us in 33rd week of the pregnancy. Their birth weights were 1.5 Kg and 1.9 Kg for baby boy and baby girl respectively. Both are doing good and in two weeks they have picked up weight to 2 Kg and 2.5 Kg.

Godspeed

Vivek

From Australia: a dream come true with the arrival of a son.

As with many of our families, this one has struggled with many years of battling infertility. All of us at SCI are privileged to be part of this happy ending...

"Dear Dr Shivani and all staff at SCI

After a miscarriage and three years of failed IVF attempts my husband and I never thought our dream of having a family would come true.  I just couldn't imagine a life without a child, it felt so empty.  My girlfriend mentioned surrogacy - something that I thought was only achievable by the rich and famous.

Not knowing where to start I emailed a few clinics in India and received an immediate response from SCI.  From there I couldn't believe how fast things moved. Within five weeks we were in India meeting the lovely Dr Shivani and her professional team.  Less than nine months later we were back in Delhi holding our gorgeous wee boy, Tanu in our arms.  I still cant believe how lucky we are and our dreams wouldn't have come true without SCI and our lovely surrogate Renuka.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Linnet, Seane and Tanu "

From the U.S: on our way home...

We wish this family the choicest of blessings, and as with all our families, we are with you until you leave Delhi...

I appreciate all of the support and assistance of your clinic staff throughout this process. It helped a great deal knowing that you all had my back.  Much thanks. I also wanted to commend Lalit, Jyoti and whoever else helped with the FRRO issue.  Their willingness to jump in and solve problems made all the difference.  Please thank them for me.

We will be flying out tomorrow afternoon.  Overall this has been a wonderful experience, and I am going to miss India and Delhi a great deal - but I'm looking forward to getting back to my own home.
