Diwali is the festival of lights and celebration. one of the most important festivals of the year and is celebrated in families by performing traditional activities together in their homes.
It is a time in which family travel to be together; where our surrogate's families are assisted to be with their daughters, wives, mothers; where the surrogate accommodation is filled with food, laughter, joy and light ( and family).
While Diwali is popularly known as the
"festival of lights", the most significant spiritual meaning is
"the awareness of the inner light".
The celebration of Diwali as the "victory
of good over evil", refers to the light of higher knowledge dispelling all
ignorance, the ignorance that masks one's true nature.
With this awakening comes compassion and the
awareness of the oneness of all things and this brings joy & peace.
Just as we celebrate the birth of our physical
being, Diwali is the celebration of this Inner Light.
May the Divine Light Of Diwali,
Spread Into Your Life Peace,
Prosperity, Happiness and Good Health.
Happy Diwali from our SCI family to yours,
