Hard to believe a decade ago, I was sitting in a waiting room at a SCI IVF Hospital in India waiting to find out whether the baby I had prayed for was a boy or a girl. God blessed me with the first of the boys I always wanted. I think my determination in having a baby was transferred to Lex because this kid is one determined child. I’m amazed every day at the reach and level of detail in his curiosity and the depth of his knowledge about the things he loves. I love waking up every morning to his little fact nuggets and am looking forward to all that is ahead, but I can’t lie, I sometimes miss the little boy who thought I could do no wrong.
